The national normally binding collective agreement expires – the post binding effect begin
The validity of the national standard collective agreement expires on 30 November 2024.
The negotiations on the national collective agreement for the IT service sector failed to reach a conclusion on Friday (29 November 2024). The negotiations have continued approximately once a week since the end of September, but text issues are still open. We have not yet discussed the salary solution. The negotiations will continue on Wednesday December 4th 2024.
As of December 1st 2024, the national normally binding collective agreement will therefore not be valid. What does that mean in practice?
The provisions of the collective agreement will be followed based on the post binding effect. Work will continue as normal.
However, the post binding effect does not apply to the obligation to maintain industrial peace. Various industrial actions are therefore permitted. Follow the union’s information channels.
