Recommend Tietoala membership – and get rewarded

By recommending membership, you help strengthen the IT community and build something that benefits everyone in the industry.
And as a thank you—you’ll receive a reward for your recommendation.
Who is this for?
The campaign is open to all employees in the IT services sector, regardless of:
- whether their contract is permanent or fixed-term
- whether they work full-time or part-time
Your reward
For each successful recommendation, you will receive:
- A €40 S Group gift card
- Delivered according to the campaign rules (see below)
All gift cards are considered taxable income and will be reported to the tax authorities by Tietoala.
In addition, you will also receive a €40 GoGift gift card via Insinööriliitto.
Campaign rules (2026)
As an Insinööriliitto member, you are eligible for the campaign reward when your recommendation leads to a new member who:
- Works in a company operating in the IT services sector
- Joins Tietoala ry
To qualify for the reward:
- The recommender must be an Insinööriliitto member
- The new member must work in the IT services sector
- The new member must join Tietoala ry
- At least one year must have passed since any previous Tietoala membership (if applicable)
- The campaign does not apply to:
- student memberships
- pensioner memberships
- members transferring from another Insinööriliitto regional association
Rewards are distributed every two months.
The campaign is valid until further notice. Tietoala reserves the right to make changes to the campaign.
How to register a recommendation
The new member simply enters the recommender’s name in the membership application form on the Insinööriliitto website.
⚠️ Important:
The recommender’s name must be included at the time of application—it cannot be added later.
