Collective Agreement will be reviewed by end of October
The employee trade unions, Federation of Professional and Managerial Staff (YTN) and Association of IT sector employees (Tietoala ry), have agreed with the employer union Technology Industries of Finland (Teknologiateollisuus ry) that the collective agreement will be updated to terminate on 31st October 2019.
The current collective agreement also contains a paragraph for extending the yearly working time for 24 hours, as part of the Competitiveness Pact (’Kiky’).
The employee unions proposed in the negotiations with the employer union that working time extencion paragraph would be removed from the collective agreement. The employer union refused the proposal. The parties agreed to negotiate salary increases and contents of the collective agreement for next contract period in the fall 2019.
